Salary range: £25,600 - £32,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits
Location:  Hybrid – Requirement to travel to our hubs for Unsecured Lending LT meetings and Unsecured Lending events.

Our Team

Our Personal Assistants provide proactive full management support, co-ordination, and administration services to our Leadership Teams. You'll support our Unsecured Lending Leadership Team on a day-to-day basis, by using your excellent organisational skills and good judgment in a variety of situations, making decisions and helping prioritise workloads along with delegating work on behalf of the Unsecured Lending Leadership Team.  You will also help deliver the colleague engagement plan for the Unsecured area, supporting with design, communications and arrangement of activities.  

What you’ll be doing

  • Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing Unsecured LT member’s diary/calendar to ensure time is utilised effectively, scheduling internal and external meetings, and making sure Unsecured LT members are prepared with agreed actions etc.
  • Supporting Unsecured LT members with managing the demands of a challenging change and integration agenda.
  • Organising events and engagement activities, including logistics, catering and set up.
  • Monitoring of compliance activity for the Unsecured area including Our Performance, Learning hub and IT access systems.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, itineraries and agendas considering options to capitalise on time and cost effectiveness.
  • Working closely with the Unsecured Lending Executive Assistant to coordinate Unsecured LT activities. Provide support to the Head of Unsecured Lending in the Executive Assistant’s absence.
  • Supporting Unsecured Lending LT meetings where required including recording and tracking of actions.
  • Supporting Unsecured LT members with expense claims where required.
  • Handling confidential, sensitive, and private material and information with professionalism.

We need you to have

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and work at pace.
  • Previous experience within a similar support role.
  • Great judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Brilliant verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • A strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively through change and integration, supporting the navigation of new processes and adapting to change.
  • Experience of office applications i.e. Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Previous experience supporting at a leadership level together with experience in managing competing priorities between leadership team members.
  • Proactive in implementing change to help bring efficiencies.
  • Experience of expenses process, system use and procurement systems.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
